Beverley RUFC Shirt at Twickenham
England Rugby has not been able to allow spectators to its series of Autumn Internationals, but they have come up with a novel way of creating some colour on the side-lines, and at the same time recognise the clubs at all levels of the game. They asked clubs to send a playing shirt to Twickenham to put on an empty seat in the stand for the matches.
“When Dave Holmes asked me if we wanted to partake, I jumped at it, as I could only see it being a good thing” said Chairman Brian Gilbert. “We chose a shirt that had one of our best sponsors from recent years on the chest, and I know that they were thrilled to see the Lightsource logo in the stands of the home of rugby union – although it is a little hard to spot, amongst all the other shirts!”.
Thank you Dave Holmes for getting this sorted.
Can you spot the Beverley shirt?
